Autumn Term Learning Overview

Spring Term Learning Overview

Winter Activities

We took part in a range of activities and trips during the winter. We went to Toby Carvery to have breakfast with Santa. We practised our table manners and ate all of our yummy breakfast before Santa arrived. We then had another visit from Santa in school and we got to tell Santa and his little helper what we would like for Christmas. After we met Santa we had a party with two elves! This was our favourite part.

Autumn Activities

The Owl Room took part in different Autumn activities. We really enjoyed our trip to Pumpkin Alley to pick a pumpkin. We then carved our class pumpkin and explored what was inside.

Communication and Language

In the Owl Room we work hard to develop our communication skills. We like to take it in turns to read a story to each other then talk about what we liked about it.

Personal, Social, Emotional Development

Children in the Owl Room are provided with experiences and support that help them to develop a positive sense of themselves and of others; respect for others; social skills; and a positive disposition to learn.

Fine and Gross Motor Development

The children in the Owl Room enjoy visiting Rowan Park and other local parks. This develops our fine and gross motor skills while helping us to build relationships with our friends.
